About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

I love colored walls and light! looks like the home improvements are really changing things and hope one day I can see the transformations in person. I think the last time I was there was for a 4-H meeting. Long ago.

Happy New Year!

oh, sgb how things have changed!!! I love my colors, too, emb. I hope you both had a fabulous time together in the mountain cabin.

and anonymous who is not anonymous to me. tell your hubby to avoid certain areas of my home. Or to wear rubber pants! (at least around the New Year) anyhoo. Can't guarantee that the actual dwellers in the homestead won't sprinkle a shoe though
