About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Scuffs

While I was pondering what to post a 12 pound blur leapt over a couch cushion and Wet Willied/ Mike Tysoned my ear. While I was wiping the side of my face a fight was ensuing at my feet. Somehow I had a nipped toe and thigh before it was over.

We have entered a new phase. Kind of like the 10-year-old-boy phase wherein he is all arms, legs and feet and doesn't quite know how to use them. And is stronger than he knows and things get broken.

So the babies can work in coordinating and/or opposing combinations of moves and I get to go along for the fun or resist and know that resistance is futile or painful. :  ) But I'm sure they don't mean to be naughty....look at those faces.
