About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Update...Living Room in Process Photos...

Recycled at least twice by me coffee table with my peacock feather/paisley abstract top....

Grand dog sitting for the month of October....

Ditto that.....

Weird effects...not sure why this pic turned out like this. But this is one mostly finished section of wall. The gold is an accurate shade pretty much...it is not the yellow it looks like below. Yikes. The long wall will have a canvas with the words from Matthew about the birds of the air and the flowers of the field and that if we seek God we don't have to worry about the daily needs we have.

My repainted super cheap white cabinet that the TV and DVD sit upon and in. It's got a need for a touch up. And I hate that the doors next to it look so yellow. YIKES. They are a rich shade of gold and the trim around it is going to be the turquoise of the TV cabinet and table top. The accent colors are all the colors on the table top and in a peacock feather.
