Beautiful weather in Seattle yesterday. The morning was overcast with fog, so much so, that the legs of the Space Needle were hidden.
We faced a few traffic issues. We are not in Iowa anymore that's for sure. And I phones are wonderful inventions. We also went on a little stroll and got lost on foot. Did I mention how nice smart phones are?
I fell flat on my face by the Space Needle. Join me in saying awkward!
We've had two of the best cups of coffee ever! Today we will see some ocean and hopefully remain upright when walking.
Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.
