About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

I made my own variation of this last night. It was awesome! Katya was yelling your ingredients from the upstairs. Me in the kitchen. Heard about half of what I needed and had about half of what you listed. Turned out delightful! My first time with rhubarb too. YUM!Xta

Ha. Ha. Xta... so glad it turned out with half the ingredients and half the instructions. There you have it, everyone...rhubarb pie is a very good thing. We gave a slice to my dad who nearly teared up with gratitude...I think he did cry when he tasted it.

EER...she is going to make another one, we have some more rhubarb. I will bring you a tiny taste so you don't blow wreck your metabolism for three days. Ha.
