About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Brrrrrrrr

Baby! It's COLD outside.

Thought this might warm you....

Didn't help me much. So I'm going to put on the flannels and commence hibernating.

It helped a bit...here in my mountain house, I am wearing my long-johns and stocking hat...and preparing to take a hot water bottle to bed with me!

Sending warm thoughts your way...

It was 20 degrees in Alabama this morning!! Good grief!! Wearing all the clothes I can get on at one time!

I'd give anything to enjoy wood heat again instead of this expensive gas!!

Well, mountain dwellers and Alabamites! The toasty fire did something in Iowa. It is currently 52 and gorgeous.

Hope it spreads to you.
