About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Miscellaneous

I have some pictures from our Iowa adventure I never posted. We visited an organic dairy farm and herb market in September.

These are a few sights we saw.

Now that the landscape is monochrome grays and browns I thought I needed a splash of c
olor and that maybe you'd like some, too.

Hi Kelly, I am now stalking or should I say following you:-) Sitting in Erin's mountain kitchen sipping coffee and visiting about life and roads taken.
I am thankful for the fork in the road that took us to the beautiful Iowa countryside and the friendships that were forged there.

Hope your road will someday wind its way to this mountain home to sip coffee with old friends.

If that is an invitation I'm so there. Ha. All I need is Erin's address. snicker. I'm grateful for your friendship as well. I do LOVE the benefits of the paths and roads and the special peeps I've met along mine. Not so much the boulders and crevices I've crashed into, but sometimes the people help cushion those blows, too. So. All that to say thanks and back at ya.
