About Me

My photo

Change. I've learned to embrace it, ride it out til the end. Sometimes I'm kicking and screaming, other times weeping with my eyes clinched tight. Once in awhile I ride like a dog in a car, head out the window snorting what life has to offer. Mother to young adult children, a marriage of thirty years, and a desert to mountain to valley waltz with God have shaped me into someone I never imagined I'd be. Life is short and I want to live it. Tears, sighs, laughter and change. Every morsel granted to me. Scrambled, shaken or stirred.

Scribble and Scrambles ~ Sigh. God is Such an Awesome Artist.

This is the sunset from my side yard taken 15 minutes ago. (Disclaimer for the literalists... taken 15 minutes before posting.) I love God art and really dig my new camera.

I had a visitor this week. She brought me 5 Ginko leaves - bright green,3 fiery red Fire Bush leaves and 3 brownish red leaves from a tree right outside the hospital, she said. She told me to set it on a white piece of paper, right on my desk. She brought me some "God Art" -it made me happier than anything bought could have. Happy Fall! :) EER
