Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Social Misfit
Man. Sometimes I just have to close my eyes and cover my ears. Does what you absorb on social media affect you that way? Of course its not just social media. It is media in general. It is society in general.
Bad news, sad news, defeating news, all massaged to fit into a sound bite or an agenda. Likely both.
People being proud to be "right" while trampling and labeling and crushing those who don't agree. Screaming accusations about the intelligence of lack thereof and even about the commenters mother.
Even simple or sweet stories get the comments.
My daughter belongs to a mom group of Facebook that has to delete posts and or remove members for being divisive and unkind. Folks are offended greatly by breast-feeding and don't hesitate to share their opinions, others are horrified that someone's kid is in public school.
Maybe we've always been like that. After all gossip is as old as time. Maybe the problem is that now those who have made snide comments, or passive aggressive assaults have a bigger platform. And for some reason their opinion must be heard by thousands in order to find validation for the unloving, sniveling thoughts dancing through their heads. Christmas-sugar-plum-dreams morphed into festering rotten produce. The Grinch's huge heart shrinking into smaller and meaner than before. The more they find engagement on social media the more maggotized their thoughts get and the more their thoughts appear to be alive through the movement of the decaying process. UGH!
So on this Tuesday, officially a spring day, here are some uplifting moments. Thanks Bored Panda.

Serials and Scenarios ~ An Official Review Post
Blogger Sarah invited Michelle and I to hang out with her twice. Then she mentioned she'd like to read Out of the Frying Pan. I sent her a copy and she posted about us again. Here it is.
And completely unrelated is my Modern Day Mishap post.
I really can't share more than the fact that my life is just weird and I find pockets of hysterical laughter in the oddest places sometimes. Like this morning when my daughter tagged me in a video showing a short grandma falling into a crib. I wept laughed. Should I share it here? Okay.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Blonde Happens
I've never been a blonde. Ever. Okay. I did do the lemon juice combed through the hair highlights experiment one summer. And one time with the product in the late 70's that gave "perfect sun kissed highlights." But that's it. And the highlights were NOT blonde.
But a blonde virus swept through my office a few weeks ago and I succumbed. Here's the story.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Fun Links
Remember when my friend Sandi hand raised raccoon kittens a couple of years ago? Oh they were cute. She kept them in her upstairs bathroom. When we visited they were pretty small and just discovering that the shower curtain made an awesome Tarzan-style vine swing. After they were released into the wild Sandi got to fully redecorate her bathroom. Got to? Had to is more like it.
Gotta love there brave animal rescuers in the world. Check out the raccoon link below. One photo shows no knobs. I'm thinking there is a reason for that.

And this, this is just because. Because it's Tuesday.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ What's Your Type?
I don't think Beagle fully fits my personality. But, I like so many breeds. Can I plead eclectic?

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Cool Pic Link
My Wednesday was a full one, so much so that I don't have anything creative cooking in my brain. However, there's a great link to some pictures taken at the exact perfect moment. Some of them are amazing.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ Just a Few Things I Wanted to Show You....
It's real cold in Iowa. But we don't have snow and ice (currently) so I'm embracing that truth with these pictures.

And here's something useful to do inside on a cold winter day...er, season.

Since perception is 9/10's of communication (79% of statistics are made up on the spot) here's a good old laugh. The milky one makes the most sense to me, but I did breastfeed two babies back in the day.

Scribbles and Scrambles ~ A Different Take on Training.
Charlie is a smart one.
Let's think this one through shall we? Lil Laura is going to be at Charlie's licking level for a few years. He's probably seen how messy children's faces get. He's maybe seen children in high chairs tossing bits all over the place.
I think that Charlie is training Laura to share. And while he's at it, teaching her the beauty of a good game of fetch. And making sure she knows who her best friend truly is.
Oh, yeah, it's not the smart move of tossing toys to the baby, it's the baby training behind the ball game.
Thanks Mom for sharing the video.
