Same goes for my husband. So, I wasn't searching to correct anything as I set out on my journey trough life as an adult - thankfully!
One important thing I found out though - (aside from my family) you never really know people. They only reveal what they want you to see. How can you try to order your life via relationship choices? It seems doomed to failure.
So I guess we should follow peace, like the Word says. Seek Him first etc...That doesn't mean you wont have trouble, but it's the best way I've found to live!Birdiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16421900422424458803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20524579.post-17975709629421222912010-01-15T19:02:12.465-08:002010-01-15T19:02:12.465-08:00I know, Kim. I'm still thinking...and thinking...I know, Kim. I'm still thinking...and thinking. My way of seeing things, my experiences, my hard-earned knowledge seem so right, so comfortable, so common-sensical. So it stands to reason that those decisions we all make -- make sense to all of us when we sort out the details and decide who we will choose to be. And we all choose...even if we default to letting others choose for us. We are COMPLICATED for sure.Scrambled Dregshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07301466354814432689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20524579.post-40628700936351226632010-01-15T06:45:31.399-08:002010-01-15T06:45:31.399-08:00Kelly -
This is a LOT to think about! My family i...Kelly -
This is a LOT to think about! My family is HUGE into family tree stuff, and yes, sometimes they make choices to "correct" the past choices. But in my in-laws case, they cling, very unnaturally, to the past...trying to recreate it here in the present as if it would lend some eternal essence to the past. They expect us to value these things similarly, and we simply don't. Matter of fact, we don't understand why they cling to it.

So I guess I just proved the theory huh? We choose not to cling. That is our change.

Hmmm...how do you get out of this thought loop?Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02101345724592651458noreply@blogger.com
